Employment is one of the neglected areas in Afghanistan
Having about 40% natural disasters in areas from the Asia Pacific region many countries have taken up employment as a concern. The employment has given raise to the concern for livelihood and has become heart to many of the policies in many developing countries. Even in some conflicting countries like Afghanistan the government has become worried about the large number of educated who are educated.
Afghanistan has been trying to bring in large number of employment for the educated youth who are there in its countries and are unemployed. During the special session at 15 Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting (ARPM) and ILO(International Labor Organization) there was discussion over employment policy. The employment policies with respect to natural disasters and the response of Japan towards natural disaster and the post tsunami activities. The way the Japan handled the natural calamities and how the employment policies helped the country was spoken while in some areas there was labor intensive projects.
There was a lot of uncertainty if natural disaster affect Afghanistan as there have been initiatives taken up by Iraq and Lebanon to provide employment in Afghanistan. The labor market knowledge is very less among the market stated Khair Mohammed Niru who is the director general of the man power and labor arrangement. There has been lack of information who Afghanistan can take up the employment policies and about the labor market and needs to address the wide gap. There has been very less done to create jobs in Afghanistan says an study in the region and government has been taking up less measures to create jobs. At present Jobs have become second highest on the list of government after security because people would be not be working for Taliban.
